Spring Fun and (Short) Game

How many swings does it take to land a golf ball inside a still hula hoop? For some LUGGers, not many, for others the stillness of the hoop was something of a problem...

But in the hoops the ball did land for all after a while.... even the most impatient among us learned that swinging little (rather than big) gets the job done better on smaller chip shots!

Of course, getting the chipping motion down on the range isn't quite the same as chipping onto real greens, and so we migrated down to Cottonwood GC's spacious short game area after a while for a good chipping practice and a contest.

Watch out for these LUGGers when they go out and play. They've learned how to get up and down around the green!

Our next event is on Monday May 14th (3-5PM). Hope to see you there!
